UK introduces Australian-style quarantine hotel system, rule-breakers to face hefty fines or jail terms

People travelling to the UK from countries where concerning coronavirus variants are spreading will be required to spend 10 days in hotel quarantine from next week, with rule-breakers to face heavy fines or jail terms.
