WAGs gone wild on last night before lockdown

Stilettos strutting, tequilas shotting, AFL Cinderellas made the most of the hours before Victoria’s curfew clock struck midnight.A WAG-a-thon session to celebrate Kylie Brown’s 40th birthday went regional, with guests including Bec Judd, Nadia Bartel and Barbara Licuria dining out at a ladies lunch at the Yarra Valley’s luxury Zonzo Estate on Friday.

The wife of former Lion’s champion Jonathan Brown had a fully-catered, disco blaring party bus ferry the “Real Housewives of Melbourne” to the wine region hours before Premier Dan announced the state would go into hard lockdown from 11.59pm. Chink chink!Only a fortnight before Bec Judd celebrated her 38th birthday with equal extravagance.Queen B and her WAG-hive sat down for a lavish ladies lunch at restaurant Elwood Bathers overlooking the beach. The same well-heeled posse who cheered Judd were backing up for Brown’s 40th soiree including the likes of shoe designer and celebrity stylist Lana Wilkinson and Emily McKay the former partner of Majak Daw.The alpha-WAG crew certainly know how to throw a party.

In November 2019 the Judds transformed their $7.3 million Brighton pile into a Coachella-themed festival.Dubbed “Juddchella”, no expense was spared for the house-warming party with Bec reportedly spending five months organising the event, enlisting the help of top party planners to recreate the annual music festival set in Palm Springs.Chris wore chaps, Bec a bejewelled push up bra two-piece extravaganza, with body glitter, flowers and fluro the order of the day as footballers and influencers gathered around the AFL couple’s new Spanish colonial mansion.Every last detail was covered, with Bec building a “pump and dump” room behind the DJs stage with comfy sofas for tequila swigging breastfeeding mums.
