Cat, Bach fave and muso’s unlikely love triangle

And now the Perth-based reality star and mental health advocate is set to make Melbourne home.Blurton, who is bisexual, appeared on the Nick ‘Honey Badger’ Cummins series of The Bachelor where she revealed to Cummins that she was attracted to both men and women. She quit the show after making it to the top three, a move she put down to Cummins’s dithering. She later appeared on Bachelor In Paradise where she briefly hooked up with Alex Nation. Now she is dating singer and musician G Flip (Georgia Flipo). However in an interesting twist Blurton has reportedly become close to Geelong player Jed BewsShe and Bews regularly leave comments on their respective social media accounts and Bews’ dog Kodi is often appearing in shots with Blurton on her Instagram.Blurton was at GMHBA Stadium for Geelong’s AFLW indigenous Round game on February 26 where according to the So Dramatic podcast she was spotted “cosying up in the stands and looked loved up” with Bews.Blurton told the It’s A Lot podcast in an episode recorded recently that she was busily dating following a relationship break up last year.“I do have an influx of dates happening. It is wild, it is a lot,” she told the podcast.“I guess I don’t want to commit to something serious for a while, so I have been going on these really quite loose dates, if you want to call them (that), as in people that I know who aren’t going to commit.”Blurton also confirmed she had considered being the Bachelorette.“There was some conversations being had, but nothing has been offered,” she said. She added she would say yes to the opportunity if a formal offer was made but would insist upon men and women suitors.“How I generally see it, hypothetically, is that because I like men and women if I was the Bachelorette it would be run so differently,” she said.“I don’t know how these big networks would take that risk.“I see it as bringing in the guys and bring in all the girls as intruders or vice versa, however you want to do it, but I would not say yes unless it was both genders.”This weekend, she and G Flip headed to Sydney for Mardi Gras.fiona.byrne@news.com.au
