It’s been a long, dark year since The Good Place concluded and we all said goodbye to creator Michael Schur’s wholesome, hopeful vision of the world and what comes next. But soon enough there will be a new crop small town adventures to enjoy from the creative mind that also brought us Parks and Recreation.

It’s hard to get a bead on what Rutherford Falls is all about based on this trailer alone. According to the description, stars Ed Helms and Jana Schmieding play “lifelong best friends” in the titular small Northeastern town that sits on the border of a Native American reservation. They see their world “turned upside down when local legend and town namesake [Nathan, played by Helms] fights the moving of a historical statue.” Read more…
