The 40-year-old shared the news in an Instagram post, and told the Herald Sun she and husband, Ben Gillies – the former drummer of Australian rock band Silverchair – are set to become parents in November.“I’m having TWINS! It has been a bumpy IVF journey but all worth it,” she wrote on Instagram. “Thank YOU for your support XOXO.”Despite the process as filled with “emotional challenges,” Gillies said a premonition from her grandmother told her she would be expecting twins.“And then look at us, here we are. It’s still a shock to be frank, we’ve been trying for so long, nearly two years. It’s been a long process,” she revealed to the Sunday Herald Sun. Throughout her IVF process, which she started seven months after filming I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here! in 2018, Gillies has shared intimate moments with her fans, including photos of her bloated stomach during the pre and post-egg retrieval. Sharing her experiences in March, Gillies joked she was no longer able to “fit into any of my clothes”. “Ladies, don’t be hard on yourself! We’ve gotta keep it moving, keep a positive mindset and talk to your loved ones about your feelings,” she said. “I’m sending you all so much love, hugs and shine.”Since she posted the news on Instagram, several of Gillies’ high-profile friends have congratulated the reality TV star on her baby news.“Oh this is the most WONDERFUL news ever. So much love to you warrior woman,” wrote journalist and presenter Jess Rowe. “Jackie ! This is the most beautiful beautiful beautiful news ! I’m so happy for you!” commented TV presenter Sally Obermeder. “Ahhh congratulations! Your positivity during a challenging IVF journey has been so inspiring. Your babies are so, so lucky to have you,” said model and journalist Ksenija Lukich. Although Gillies and Ben have decided to keep the sex of their twins secret, she has said he will make “the most incredible dad”.
