Memory and mystery lie at the heart of the trailer for Reminiscence, the upcoming thriller and directorial debut from writer, director, and Westworld co-creator Lisa Joy.
Set in a futuristic Miami where nostalgia seems to be a commodity, the film sees Hugh Jackman starring as Nick Bannister, a “private investigator of the mind” who helps clients dig into their hidden memories, with the help of Thandiwe Newton, who also stars. One of these clients is Mae, played by Rebecca Ferguson, who Bannister appears to take on “one more job” for in classic noir style, and who seems to have a big dark mystery associated with her.
