She’s So Lucky: Britney Spears Is Officially Engaged to Sam Asghari

Congratulations are in order for Britney Spears and her longtime boyfriend, Sam Asghari! The couple, who have been dating since 2016, expressed the desire to get married and expand their family but faced numerous obstacles due to Spears’ ongoing legal conservatorship.

Moments ago, Spears posted a sweet video on her Instagram account with the caption, “I can’t fucking believe it 💍💍💍💍💍💍❣️!!!!!!” Asghari shared a cheeky photo as well, captioning it only with the king and queen emojis.

Recently, following much media attention, Spears’ extremely restrictive conservatorship was revoked, allowing the couple to pursue regular activities such as riding in Asghari’s car, and, most recently shopping for engagement rings earlier this month.

According to Page 6, New York City–based jewelry designer Roman Roman Malayev created the one-of-a-kind ring that Asghari used to pop the question. Set in platinum, the 4-karat round, brilliant-cut stone is enhanced by its cathedral setting which creates a floating appearance.
