NSW cases plunge as freedom looms

He said there were also six deaths of people with Covid-19.NSW has reached a milestone vaccination rate with 90 per cent of its residents aged 16 and older now having received their first dose of the Covid-19 vaccination, while more than 73 per cent have had their second jab.Of the six men who died, two were in their 50s, one was in their 60s, and three were in their 70s. One was from western Sydney, one was from south eastern Sydney, two were from south western Sydney, and two were from southern NSW. Five were not vaccinated and one had received one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine.Of the 477 new cases, 106 are from southwest Sydney, 56 are from Hunter New England, 77 are from western Sydney, 58 are from Illawarra/Shoalhaven, 32 are from inner Sydney, 40 are from southeast Sydney, 20 are from Nepean Blue Mountains, 25 are from Central Coast LHD and 20 are from north Sydney.
