The final episode of Foxtel’s showstopping series which started in 2013, airs on Tuesday night.Kate Box who plays Lou Kelly, said: “It was pretty epic. There was massive adrenaline, we were all acutely aware of something incredible coming to a close.“It was freezing, it was bloody and everybody was so determined to go out giving it absolutely everything they had. There was massive passion to it given by everyone and a few tears as well.”She added: “The body count isn’t modest … it definitely slams you in the face.”Jane Hall, who joined two seasons ago as villain Ann Reynolds, said there was a level of camaraderie among the cast that she’d never experienced before. “I’ve only been in the last two seasons which makes me very fresh but as we worked through the scenes … everyone stayed behind even after their scenes had finished in order to stand around with the crew and clap everyone off as one by one we each completed our last scene on that day,’’ Hall said. “That’s something that doesn’t happen often, that level of camaraderie. That support from cast and crew was an amazing experience.”Hall added: “Playing essentially a baddie is something I’ve never really done before.“I’ve always been Australia’s good girl. I was able to access some really dark parts of my personality which frankly surprised me and I did it all with such ease. “Fans are such a monumental part of Wentworth. This was a once in a lifetime opportunity for me and one I absolutely relished.Rurriwuy Hick, who plays Ruby Mitchell, said: “I didn’t expect it to be so emotional. You give so much of yourself to the character and I’d been there since Season Six. “I don’t even know how to describe it really, it’s definitely a family and I still to this day miss everybody and miss being in that machine. Once you’re in it you give it your all. That last time you put on the teal and take it off and put it into the laundry basket, it was really difficult to walk away from that set.”Wentworth: The Final Sentence finale episode airs Tuesday 8.30pm on Foxtel.
