Hulu‘s latest true-crime drama, “Candy,” premieres on May 9. Instead of releasing weekly, Hulu will debut one new episode of “Candy” every night through May 13. 

The show stars Jessica Biel as Candy Montgomery, who was accused of the brutal axe murder of her best friend Betty Gore (Melanie Lynskey) in 1980. The crime occurred after a long affair between Candy and Betty’s husband, Allan (Pablo Schreiber). The show also stars Timothy Simons and Raúl Esparza.

“Candy” is created by Nick Antosca and Robin Veith. Antosca previously co-created the Hulu true-crime series “The Act,” which premiered in 2019.

Where to watch ‘Candy’

You can watch new episodes of “Candy” exclusively on Hulu beginning May 9. Hulu will release one new episode every day through May 13.

Hulu‘s Basic plan costs $7 a month and gives you ad-supported access to Hulu’s entire on-demand streaming library. For $13 a month, you can upgrade to Hulu’s ad-free plan.

You can watch “Candy” for free if you sign up for Hulu‘s trial membership. New members are eligible for a 30-day free trial that includes access to the service’s entire streaming library. 

Since “Candy” is being released over five days, you could sign up for the free trial on May 9 and watch new episodes as they air.

“Candy” has five episodes in total. One new episode will premiere on Hulu every day from May 9 to May 13.
