TL;DR: As of June 13, you can get a refurbished ASUS 10.1″ 16GB Chromebook Flip (worth $249 new) for just $59.99. That’s savings of a whopping 75%.

In the market for a new laptop, but on a tight budget? Keep more money in your pocket by snagging a refurbished ASUS Chromebook for a mere $59.99.

The ASUS Chromebook Flip C100PA, originally released in 2015, is an intuitive device to surf the web with on the go. It gets its name from its 360-degree hinge, which lets you fold the display around and back, offering multiple usage modes. You can stand it up, use it as a tablet, or surf the web like a typical laptop. It has an Intel Rockchip 1.8GHz processor and 2GB DDR3 RAM running Google Chrome OS, so it’s not built for high-power tasks like editing on Photoshop, but it performs well when surfing the web, checking emails, reading documents, or streaming shows.

PCMag (which is owned by Mashable’s publisher, Ziff Davis) gave it an outstanding 4.5 rating and coveted Editor’s Choice award, calling it “one of the most impressive offerings we’ve seen in the [Chrome-based laptop] category.” Granted, this was in 2015 when the C100PA was released, so quite a few Chromebooks have earned the title of “top pick” since then. Still, it’s a worthy laptop in 2022 — especially for the absurdly low price.

The laptop in question has 16GB storage, which is pretty standard for a Chromebook, a 10.1-inch LCD touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, and weighs less than 2 pounds. It’s marked “B” for its refurbished rating, which means it may have some scratches and blemishes, but should work like brand new.

If you’re looking for a laptop that can keep up with your internet habits, the Flip C100PA should do the trick, even if it is quite a few years old. It originally retailed for $249 in 2015, but you can save 75% and pick up a refurbished one on sale for only $59.99.

Prices subject to change.
