Truth be told, I have no idea if kids still play with Barbies, but as an ’80s and ’90s kid, I certainly did. My point is, I have strong feelings about the “Barbiecore” aesthetic trend, and I’m very much looking forward to the upcoming Barbie movie. I also have strong feelings about the ongoing Zara sale.

While scrolling through the Zara sale yet again this weekend, something jumped out at me: all the hot pink pieces. All hot pink everything has been on everyone’s mind (including Anne Hathaway’s)—so much so that it’s well on its way to overtaking kelly green as the It color of 2022. But back to Zara—the great thing about the hot pink items included in the sale is that many of them are actually quite wearable (translation: It won’t look as though you’re going as Barbie on Halloween.)
