Amidst all the hustle of the Far Out event, Apple has decided to quietly upgrade the AppleCare+ as well. Previously, AppleCare+ allowed for two incidents of accidental damage cover every year.
However, starting today, that cap has been lifted as Apple has decided that you are getting unlimited repairs for accidental damage protection as long as you keep paying.

However, as a long-term smartphone user, it is safe to say that unless you actually are really clumsy, the chances are that you will not be exceeding two repairs per year anyway. However, it is still nice to see AppleCare+ offering this service without any additional charge.
Where available, AppleCare+ Theft and Loss still covers up to two incidents of theft or loss every year.
In addition to unlimited repairs, AppleCare+ includes other benefits like Express Replacement Service — Apple ships you a replacement phone while they are conducting a repair on your device, and also offer 24/7 priority support access.
For those wondering, the AppleCare+ for iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro costs $9.99per month. You can go on a monthly basis until you decide to cancel, or you can buy two years of coverage upfront by paying $199 one-time.
Apple or not, I cannot imagine dropping my phone that much or needing accidental phone coverage but it is safe to say that a lot of people would be in need of such coverage. Let us know what you think of Apple’s generous offer.
