The former Victoria’s Secret models walked the runway for Marc Jacobs’ fall 2022 show in New York on Tuesday.Gigi, 27, and Bella, 25, hit the runway at the New York Public Library looking practically unrecognisable, thanks to their half-shaved heads and bleached eyebrows.But don’t worry: The Hadids didn’t actually buzz off their locks for the show. Instead, working alongside a team of prosthetic artists, famed hairstylist Duffy used bald caps and jet-black wigs with blunt-cut bangs to create the futuristic punk-rock look.As for the platinum brows? Those were the real deal, courtesy of makeup artist Diane Kendal.Bella liked the look so much she posted a few backstage photos of her goth undercut on Instagram, confusing more than a few fans in the process.“Bella what did they do to you babe?” one asked, while another commented, “I love you but what is this.”“it’s giving lisbeth salander,” a third commented, referring to the heroine of Stieg Larsson’s “The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo,” while a fourth simply labelled her look a “jumpscare.”Gigi, 27, shared a few Instagram Stories snaps of her look as well.The duo’s outfits for the show included a hot pink sweater and towering white platforms for Gigi, and a black vinyl gown paired with dramatic elbow-length white gloves for Bella.The sisters often step out in like-minded looks, most recently styling swimsuits for a spin on the town.
