The 39-year-old shared pictures of daughter Elle after receiving treatment for the injury, saying watching her in pain was “one of the hardest parts of parenthood”.Robards accompanied his daughter to the ER, donning a protective lead apron as he helped hold Elle while she had X-rays done.“One of the hardest parts of parenthood is seeing your child in pain,” The Bachelor star wrote in an Instagram post.“Poor little thing hurt her wrist at some stage and although she’s pretty tough the pain was getting too much, so Daddy donned the lead skirt to protect his next potential child and we got a little X-ray which seemed all good, so hoping it’s just a sprain.”The ordeal, which was clearly upsetting for Elle, was also distressing for her parents.Robards described how he had to “pull out those toddler first aid skills” to give Elle support as she struggled with her injury.But despite the pain, she was quick to comfort her concerned dad.“She’s such a trooper, crying in pain at times with movement but then she’s quick to put me at ease and tell me she’s ‘happy – happy Daddy,’” he said.Robards went on: “Hats off to those parents who have to deal with bigger things than a potential sprained wrist.”Heinrich and Robards met during their time on The Bachelor in 2013.They were married in 2018 and welcomed daughter Elle in November 2020.In an interview with Stellar magazine in March, Heinrich, 35, said the pair were wishing to add to their family in the near future as the couple hope to fall pregnant again later this year.She even speculated that twins were a definite possibility as they run in her family, with her grandma being a twin.
