Fitness class subscriptions like ClassPass made an impressively fast switch to virtual workouts when social distancing hit. However, many of those apps didn’t have time to whip up a TV-ready app, and something like Google Chromecast is required to cast many workouts to the TV.
Samsung recently announced partnerships with fitness and wellness apps like Obé and Calm, which are now available to anyone with a Samsung smart TV. They can be downloaded to the pool where Netflix and other streaming apps sit, and will be a part of the Samsung Health platform when it launches later this year.
