South African President Cyril Ramaphosa said on Thursday the “coronavirus storm” had arrived as the country’s virus cases surpassed 400,000. During a briefing in Pretoria, Ramaphosa announced 130,000 new virus cases had been reported since his last address 11 days ago, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 408,052.
