The Trial of the Chicago 7 chronicles the legal battles of eight (later seven) individuals who organized a peaceful protest that turned violent in the presence of police and were subsequently charged with conspiracy to incite a riot.
In the trailer, we get a glimpse of Judge Julius Hoffman (Frank Langella) and his complete lack of fair proceedings particularly as it related to Bobby Seale (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II), a Black defendant and co-founder of the Black Panther Party.
