Costco is selling a 12-month private flight membership for $17,499.99 — delivered to your email.

The pricey year-long “private aviation membership” can be found on Costco’s gift cards and tickets with “digital codes” section. Scroll through the list and you’ll find an Xbox membership, gift cards to Build-A-Bear Workshops, and the “eDelivery” private flight membership that costs $17,500.

The membership is with Wheels Up, a company which prides itself as private flight “made more accessible,” according to its website. The Wheels Up one-year membership at Costco gives access to private flights that members can book using the “Wheels Up App” from anywhere in the country with as short as a day’s notice in advance, the product description listed on Costco’s website said.

The flights are cleaned extensively and all crewmembers must monitor their temperature twice daily, the website said. According to the description, the membership comes with a $3,500 Costco Shop Card and $4,000 flight credit.

Research has shown that long flights are highly vulnerable to coronavirus spread, so those who can afford private flights are seeking them as a safe alternative to commercial airlines, Business Insider’s Thomas Pallini previously reported.
