‘Happy and blessed’: Red Wiggle welcomes first child

Hannaford told of the couple’s baby joy with an emotional Instagram post revealing they had named their newborn son Asher William Pryce.“Asher means: Happy & Blessed… And that is exactly what we are to have you, our gorgeous boy,” she posted alongside and image taken just after the baby’s arrival. “We love you endlessly and beyond comprehension already,” she continued. “We miss you so much when you are sleeping… but at the same time just want to sit and watch you for hours while you do it.”

Pryce and Hannaford, who runs her own online fitness program, FHIT by Lauren Hannaford, married in 2017 after meeting when she was touring with The Wiggles as Dorothy Dinosaur.Pryce told News Corp Australia last October he was thrilled and excited to be adding another baby to The Wiggles family after fellow performer Lachlan Gillespie welcomed twin daughters.Pryce revealed last October that he and Hannaford were having a baby boy in a touching gender reveal video posted on Instagram.

During her pregnancy, Hannaford developed a series of online workouts for expectant mums. The former elite gymnast and Australian Ninja Warrior contestant recorded them with her sister-in-law, and she says interest in the program surged given that fitness enthusiasts were unable to go to the gym.
