I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here! contestant Williams was slammed by viewers for his rough treatment of the former Bachelor star early in the season, casting her aside when Alli Simpson caught his eye.
He was also reportedly pursuing Pettifleur Berenger on the sly, too, with the The Real Housewives of Melbourne star claiming they had discussed their attraction to each other behind Chatfield’s back.Despite his wandering eye, Chatfield and Williams ended up sharing a steamy pash in a later episode, with Chatfield admitting things may have gone further had they not been on a PG show.

She also insisted that she had no feelings for the controversial star during filming, explaining their canoodling was purely out of boredom and a lack of affection while stuck together in the Aussie outback.“There’s this weird thing, there’s a lot of Twitter chat about how I am in love with Ash and I’m obsessed with Ash,” she began on her It’s A Lot
podcast.

“I never had feelings for Ash, I got a lot of DMs from you guys like ‘you’re too good for him, can’t you see he doesn’t like you’ and I’m like but I didn’t like him either!“Got along really well, we were really good friends in there. We cuddled literally all day, everyday, because we needed affection,” she explained, having previously revealed the two “caught up for a coffee” after the show wrapped as friends and nothing more.

Of their “no-consequences pash” which aired on the show, she added: “And I did request a no-consequences pash, in the same way that you would request a friends-with-benefits moment, but unfortunately kiddies, we were on a PG show so I couldn’t say, ‘Do you want to just f**k?’. Also, ‘cause we couldn’t f**k, cause we’re in the jungle and there was no hot water, if you know what I mean.”news.com.au has contacted Chatfield for clarification on the comment, but she was seemingly referring to the lack of a warm shower.

Elsewhere in her latest podcast episode, Chatfield discussed the “needy woman fantasy” that she felt viewers projected onto her following her kiss with Williams. “There’s one scene where I’m talking to the girls about the pash, and in the next scene Ash (is saying) to Grant ‘It was really nice having a pash though wasn’t it’ … So we are both saying the same thing. “Ash and I are both talking about it but on Twitter everyone’s like ‘Abbie is so obsessed with him’. Why are you projecting a needy woman fantasy onto me?” she questioned, adding that is was a phenomenon she would be addressing in her upcoming book, So Let’s Unpack That (which abbreviates to SLUT).

Meanwhile, Williams has pleaded not guilty to recording an intimate image of a woman without her consent. It is understood police will allege the images at the centre of the allegations are screenshots of a woman, allegedly taken during FaceTime phone sex.Williams told The Sunday Telegraph he was “really upset” by the allegation.“I’m distressed about the impact it’s had on members of my family, particularly my mum,” he said.
