Hawkins teamed up with Michelle Greene and Rebecca Judd to create a limited edition 18-piece collection. While the collection had to be stylish and luxe, it also had to be practical for a busy mum on the run. “My mummy uniform is currently activewear, so when JAGGAD approached me to design a range, I thought, ‘Yes. Love the brand’.” Hawkins said. “I wanted my range with JAGGAD to be activewear with a fashion influence. It definitely had to be comfy in my everyday life, also working out of course. I test drove each piece. It is my hope that this collection will inspire women to feel unstoppable every day with whatever activity they are pursuing. “I absolutely love the range. I’m super proud of it.” Hawkins said Frankie, one, was a big part of her fitness routine.“I do a pilates session with a trainer once or twice a week,” she said. “I walk with Frankie daily. I still carry her or use the pram so that’s a 10-plus kg weight — great cardio. I try and get in a yoga session three times a week.”Greene, JAGGAD co-founder and creative director, said working with Hawkins was “inspiring and exciting’’.“To be able to take Jennifer’s signature pared-back, but luxe, style and fuse it with the JAGGAD performance apparel has enabled us to bring to life a truly unique and new collection,” she said.“The collection is really elevated and true to her style. It suits her active lifestyle while juggling being a mum, wife and entrepreneur.’’fiona.byrne@news.com.au
