Wait, This Tank Top Is $14 But Looks Super Expensive

OSTN Staff

Our editor in chief, Kat Collings, recently shared with us a special gem she is wearing on repeat at the moment. Naturally, we wanted to highlight the staple for you as well. The piece in question? This $14 ribbed tank from Amazon.

The Kamissy piece looks quite expensive (honestly, could be designer) because of the modern, higher cut and the ribbed fabric. The color is also noteworthy in the of-the-moment beige hue. The beauty of this trendy basic is that it’s highly versatile and could act as a base layer for a range of ensembles this spring and summer. In fact, Collings actually sent over a few photos showcasing how she’s styling her favorite tank.

Intrigued? Wonderful. Keep scrolling to learn more about why this expensive-looking tank is top-notch. If you go a bit farther, you’ll also find more affordable tank tops (under $30) that could also be of interest.

“I’m basically in a relationship with this tank to,” Collings says. “I can’t stop telling my friends about it, because it’s really nice quality and a super-affordable price point. The thick banding at the neck and sleeves feels so perfectly on-trend too. The crop is the perfect length for concealing my belly button while still being short enough so I don’t have to tuck it into my pants. I’m wearing the khaki color, but I also love how the red-brown looks. I have a feeling I’ll be collecting many colors over the coming months!”

“This tank is a few more dollars than the cropped one, but it’s so good I had to include it too. It’s super stretchy, so it forms to the body nicely, and thick enough that I don’t feel like it will get stretched out. I like having the longer one as an option too so I can tuck it into a skirt or pants for a more polished look.”

The color mixing is quite trendy.
