Ex-Block star will admit to crimes: court

Taylor, 50, is facing more than 110 charges including obstructing police and multiple alleged stealing and fraud offences.She has also been charged with driving without a licence and is facing more than 90 alleged breaches of bail.Ms Taylor, whose real name is Suellen Jan Taylor, is currently in custody.Gatenby Criminal Law clerk Elisha Collett told Brisbane Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday that Ms Taylor would plead guilty during her next court appearance.“She’s at risk of serving too much time,” Ms Collet told the court.After a brief adjournment, the court scheduled a 30-minute plea hearing for next Thursday.It comes after a jury last week found Ms Taylor not guilty of the charges of extortion, deprivation of liberty, assault occasioning bodily harm, fraud and attempted fraud at a Brisbane District Court trial.Ms Taylor became a public figure after she appeared on the 11th season of the Nine Network’s high-rating reality series The Block in 2015.She teamed with fellow Gold Coaster Voni Cosser. Their room made $349,000 profit at auction.Since then she has had a string high-profile friendships and come under notice of police.
