The loved-up pair was the toast of the 2018 Brownlow count when Mitchell won, but went their separate ways several months ago.Pilates instructor Davis has moved to Byron Bay and is close friends with Lucy Brownless, daughter of former footy champion Billy Brownless, who has also moved to the popular New South Wales town.In the telltale modern sign the split is official, Davis and Mitchell no longer follow each other on Instagram.After he won the Brownlow, gun midfielder Mitchell spoke about how a change in diet helped spark his game, largely thanks to partner Hannah.“In summary my diet wasn’t too flash,” he said.“Pre-game routine consisted of a box of Barbecue Shapes and a Kit Kat and some Starburst every night. I am now on a strict salmon diet.”He continued: “It can be a challenge to get away from at times.“I’ve had great support around me; my girlfriend Hannah, family and friends who have got me through and have made it a lot easier for me to enjoy my football.“Having fun along the way is very important.”Mitchell was also supported by Davis after a horror leg break in the pre-season of 2019.Just last week he launched his new clever business venture, the Ball Magnets app, along with Brownlow medallist Lachie Neale, AFLW star Erin Phillips, as well as Carlton star Patrick Cripps and Gold Coast rookie Matt Rowell.In December, Davis told the Herald Sun she was inspired by Mitchell to leave a career in PR to pursue her pilates passion.She is the pilates instructor on the Jesinta Franklin app.“Don’t get me wrong, I loved my job, but it was one of those things as I got a bit older — what am I passionate about?” Davis said.“A big part of it was Tom, because I just found that being with him and watching him really go for what he wanted and his dreams, I was like, ‘I need to do something with my life that I’m also passionate about’. I’m just so grateful for my job.”Mitchell is the son of former AFL star Barry Mitchell, who had an illustrious career playing for the Sydney Swans, Carlton and Collingwood.
