The Tecno Pova 2 was unveiled in the Philippines today – a self-proclaimed budget gaming phone with a PHP 8,000 price tag ($167/€137) and a massive 7,000 mAh battery. That’s 1,000 mAh more than the original Pova, but the upgrades don’t end there.
For starters, the large 6.9” screen has 1080p+ resolution (20.5:9), a major upgrade over the 6.8” 720p+ screen of its predecessor. Also, the touch sampling rate is increased to 180Hz for faster response times (refresh rate is still 60Hz).
