The CFO of the Trump Organization could be charged as soon as this summer as the investigation by the Manhattan district attorney’s office appears to be nearing completion, The New York Times reported.
People familar with the matter told The Times that a grand jury has been hearing evidence about Allen Weisselberg, and prosecutors have obtained his personal tax records.
It’s not clear if prosecutors will seek to indict Weisselberg, the Times reported.
The investigation is taking place alongside a wider investigation into the Trump Organization.
