House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy on Monday named the GOP members serving on the January 6 House select committee investigating the January 6 attack on the US Capitol.

According to Washington Post reporter Marianna Sotomayor, Rep. Jim Banks will serve as the ranking member and will be joined by Reps. Jim Jordan, Rodney Davis, Kelly Armstrong, and freshman Troy Nehls.

Reps. Banks, Jordan, and Nehls voted against certifying the election results for Arizona and Pennsylvania, where Joe Biden won, even after the violent mob stormed the Capitol building in an attempt to overturn the 2020 presidential election.
