These Are the Body Products That Keep My Skin Looking So Good

OSTN Staff

Simply put, it’s our job to find the best beauty products out there for you. From the newest serum to the hottest lipstick color to the dry shampoo that will change your life, we will find it, test it, and let you know what we think. We’re not complaining. It’s a pretty fun gig, and we’ll volunteer to be beauty guinea pigs any day.

But one of the cool things to come out of this is finding out what products you’re loving and buying. It helps us figure out what you want to learn more about and what you’re into so we can bring even more personalized recs to you.

Because we share a lot of our favorites with you every single day, we recognize it might be hard to keep up. So we’ve decided to put together a handy weekly list of what we love and what you love—consider this a CliffsNotes, one-stop-shop of what’s really trending and worth adding to your cart at this very moment.

This week, I’m sharing the body products that nourish and condition my skin so it looks flawless. Plus, you’ll find some recs from our editors and readers. Do you have a product that we missed? We’d love to know. Send us a DM.

This body moisturizer is just pure gold for dry, parched skin. It softens the skin and absorbs easily. Ingredients include beta-carotene, cocoa butter, and sesame oil.

I love putting this oil on because it feels so luxe, but it doesn’t feel slimy or greasy at all. It just leaves my skin feeling so smooth and silky. The formula contains five cold-pressed plant oils that are rich in antioxidants and skin-nourishing nutrients.

With marula butter, a five-ceramide blend, and shea butter, Drunk Elephant’s popular Sili Body Lotion is ultramoisturizing. It also works to balance the skin’s pH levels.

If you’re looking for a firming formula, this one’s for you. The body cream is fast absorbing and is enriched with cupuaçu butter, which improves the skin’s elasticity. And with a scent of salted caramel and pistachio, this is going to guarantee you some compliments.

It’s okay if you need a little bit of help faking an all-over body glow— I won’t tell anyone. This body lotion is enriched with vitamin A to give you a radiant boost and lock in moisture.

Your dull skin might be stopping you from getting that glowy look everyone loves. That’s where exfoliation comes in. Alpha Skin Care’s Renewal Body Lotion contains glycolic alpha hydroxy acid to encourage collagen production and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

I’ve been using a body brush lately to help with exfoliation, especially since the skin on my body gets a little drier in the summer months. This one does a good job of smoothing my skin while also preventing any ingrown hairs.

Nivea’s gel-cream formula works to firm and tone the skin after two weeks of regular use. It contains skin-nourishing ingredients such as CoQ10, L-carnitine, and lotus extract.

After senior beauty editor Erin Jahns called this body scrub the “Rolls-Royce of body scrubs,” I decided to give it a whirl. She wasn’t lying. The brown-sugar scrub does a good job of getting rid of dead skin, but it’s so gentle, so it doesn’t leave my skin angry and red. Plus, it has a yummy vanilla scent.

I like using a little body shimmer before I go out. I think summer nights call for it, right? Fenty Beauty’s shimmering Body Luminizer makes your skin look so dang dewy and sexy.

Cetaphil’s Restoring Lotion was a recent best seller with our readers. It’s packed with antioxidants and niacinamide to smooth the skin and even tone and texture.

You might be upping your hair-removal game during summer, so I highly recommend avoiding any ingrown hairs with this scrub from Fur. It’s both a chemical and physical exfoliant that’s powerful, yet it’s gentle enough for frequent use.

My eczema makes an appearance year-round, but this summer, it’s been especially annoying. This cream is a great supplement to my prescription steroid ointments. I slather it on my hands because that’s where I experience the most dryness.

If you’re dealing with rough, bumpy skin (like keratosis pilaris), you’re going to want to try this scrub from First Aid Beauty. It’s both a physical and chemical exfoliator with pumice buffing beads and glycolic and lactic acids. Plus, it’s great at soothing any itchiness.

A body sunscreen that protects against UV rays while also leaving a glowy finish thanks to light-reflecting minerals? Sign me up. It also contains coconut alkanes to lock in hydration.

This drugstore body oil is just as good as the pricier options. The moisturizing formula contains sesame oil and sinks into the skin quickly.

Glow Recipe’s body cream is formulated with hibiscus AHA for a smoothing effect and hyaluronic acid to lock in moisture. And don’t be fooled by the name—it’s got a lightweight, creamy texture.

The star ingredient in this bodywash is niacinamide (vitamin B5), which nourishes and balances the skin. It smells good, too. It’s infused with eucalyptus and sandalwood essential oils.

I use this moisturizing lotion year-round, so it’s always a go-to for me. The great thing about wearing it during the summer is that it’s not too heavy or greasy, but it’s still ultramoisturizing. If you’ve got sensitive skin, I highly recommend this one. Next, I’ve Turned at Least 10 Picky Friends on to These Fail-Proof Beauty Finds
