Followers of Schiavello called her out and accused her of photoshopping a 2014 picture in which Keebaugh looked noticeably larger than in the original.Keebaugh’s daughter Chessie said she was embarrassed for Schiavello, who posted the picture two days ago to promote her culinary business inLydia’s Kitchen. One follower wrote: “Dying at the Photoshop. Poor Chyka doesn’t deserve the extra 47kgs”.Schiavello denied using Photoshop, responding to those questioning the picture: “It’s an old photo Season 2 no Photoshop, I wouldn’t do that after being fat shamed myself x”.Chessie was not impressed and called it lame. “The blatant lying speaks to (sic) highly to your character. It was a perfect time to own your mistake, but you continued the bullshit? I can’t even begin to fathom what goes on in your mind? Is it super shallow or just incredibly self regarding?”Chessie also posted the pictures side-by-side on her own Instagram to make her point.“A grown woman posted this yesterday (7 years later + the worst editing job I’ve ever seen) Honestly, I laughed when I was shown because it’s truly the most pathetic thing I’ve ever seen.“But I actually woke up incredibly mad that in 2021 a woman went out of her way to bring another woman down. Yes, it’s my mother, but taking a step back from that.“This is so high school and actively malicious, I’m truly in shock.“What 50 something woman sits at home morphing herself to look thin and the woman next to her large.”She added: “I worry for your mindset, it poses serious questions around your ego. Are you that desperately in need of attention and your ego stroked that your (sic) willing to do that at another person’s expense?”Hospitality and lifestyle leader Keebaugh left the show in 2016 amid escalating drama. She and Schiavello, who was on every season of Foxtel’s Real Housewives until series five this year, have known each other for years.Schiavello and fellow original cast member Gina Liano decided to step down from the show for personal reasons.Schiavello said earlier this year: “I will miss the camaraderie, the interaction with viewers and the challenges that my fellow cast members presented”.
