No Frumpy Sweaters to See Here: 8 Knitwear Pieces That Hit All the Right Trends

OSTN Staff

Two trends I can really get behind right now involve the copious number of knit styles and the limitless possibilities of layering. Knit tanks don’t have to be a thing of the summer: I’m seeing them worn over tees and as parts of shrug sets. Sweater vests have the same versatility, and then there are all the takes on polo sweaters and cardigans, too. I finally own more knitwear than I do basic tees and blouses, and I’m so excited about it. All the knitwear styles look amazing paired with fall’s other obsessions: chunky loafers, tall boots, miniskirts, and suits. Keep scrolling to see my favorite knit pieces right now.

I can’t wait to wear this on its own and on top of an oversize white buttondown.

Cutouts may get less practical as the weather drops, but I’m so happy they’re not going anywhere.

The color, the style, the price… it’s too good to be true.

I don’t know why I’ve waited this long for a front-tie cardigan. They’re too cute, especially with flared jeans and loafers.

I’m so in love with this top, I’ll wear it over long-sleeve crewneck tees all winter long.

Of course, Staud perfected the half-zip pullover sweater. I could wear this every day.

I have a thing for waffle knit, especially in the form of cardigans. This cute cropped cardi will fit perfectly in my collection.

Polo sweaters instantly make an outfit look polished and trendy.
