Microsoft released Windows 10 update KB5005611 to Insiders in the Release Preview Channel last week. The company has now made this update available to the public, as well. However, since it’s an optional update, users are advised to wait until Patch Tuesday to install this update.
Windows 10 KB5005611 is available for Windows 10 May 2020 Update, Windows 10 October 2020 Update, and the May 2021 Update. Some of the highlights of KB5005611 (Builds 19041.1266, 19042.1266, and 19043.1266) include:
Updates an issue that causes the system clock to be wrong by one hour after a daylight saving time (DST) change.
- Updates an issue that causes applications, such as Microsoft Outlook, to suddenly stop working during normal use.

You can get the update through Windows Update and Microsoft Update Catalog. The fixes and improvements being delivered are currently in “preview” but will arrive with the next Patch Tuesday updates even if you don’t choose to install this non-security update.
