NSW Health’s Dr Jeremy McAnulty said of the six deaths, four people were unvaccinated, one had received one dose while a woman in her 90s had received both doses.The elderly woman died at a nursing home in the Hawkesbury where she acquired her infection.The new deaths came from the west and southwest of the city while one person died in the Nepean Blue Mountains areas.Dr McAnulty put communities in the regions on notice with 77 new cases in the Illawarra and 59 in Hunter New England.
