A gym, cinema and Coles supermarket in regional Victoria were among 90 new sites added by the Department of Health at the weekend, as well as two childcare centres in Melbourne. There are more than 580 exposure sites across the state, with 1377 new infections recorded on Monday.But Victorians can expect some freedoms will return late this month as the state hurtles towards its vaccination targets.As of Monday morning, at least 82 per cent of eligible Victorians had received one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine, with 52.1 per cent fully vaccinated.The government will start to strip away restrictions once Victoria reaches a double-dose vaccination rate between 70 and 80 per cent. Victorians are still being urged to get tested for Covid-19 if they have been to an exposure site, in a bid to limit the spread of the virus onto those who are still unvaccinated.
