Fox FM andTriple M have gone into lockdown with staff isolating and undergoing Covid tests.The move will not impact either station’s output with all shows being broadcast from home studios and offices.Southern Cross Austereo, the owner of both Fox and Triple M, confirmed it was taking all necessary precautions.“SCA has confirmed that an employee in its Melbourne office has returned a positive COVID-19 test,” a spokesperson said on Saturday morning.“SCA immediately implemented its Covid-Safe Response Plan, including notifying its staff and both the Victorian Department of Health and Work Safe Victoria. “The SCA Melbourne office is restricted for access only to essential staff related to show broadcasts, under the provisions of the Broadcasting Act. “Our thoughts, well wishes and full support are with the employee, who is self-isolating under Department of Health guidelines.”
