It is not known yet whether the woman was infectious while in Queensland, or what relation this might have to the NT’s case of community transmission that sent Katherine into a three-day lockdown and Darwin into a lockout. As of Saturday, 79.06 per cent of Queenslanders aged over 16 have had one dose of the vaccine, while the rate of total vaccination sits at 66.3 per cent. It comes as Australia reaches a major vaccine milestone, with 80 per cent of adults over the age of 16 now fully vaccinated against Covid-19. There are nine active cases in Queensland.
