On Friday the mother-of-two confirmed that, having attempted some kind of remote, Noosa-based marital placation in the past four years, the couple have finally put any reconciliation hopes behind them. The pair made headlines in 2017 when they faced off in a Sydney court following a domestic dispute at their Watsons Bay home that resulted in an AVO, later dismissed, against Bell, an accountant and yachtsman. While a court accepted Landry’s claims she had been intimidated by her husband during an argument in 2016, during which the pair wrestled for a phone — something that was recorded and played to the court — it ultimately found against claims Bell had abused his wife, a former model and TV presenter.Bell was never charged with any criminal offence. In 2017, Bell bought property at Noosaville, and Landry and the couple’s two daughters moved to the home.Landry, who has reverted to her maiden name, said Bell would keep that property after she recently bought acreage in the Noosa hinterland from which she plans to run a yoga business.“We recently decided we work better as friends (than as a married couple),” Landry said. “We’ve been separated for a while now.”
