Chatfield has vowed to not play it safe, with no topic off the table, on her new Hot Nights with Abbie Chatfield show that airs weeknights from 7pm-9pm on Fox FM and nationally on the HIT Network.Chatfield has built a career out of raw and forthright commentary on the most intimate of topics via her It’s A Lot podcast and her social media since finding fame as a contestant on The Bachelor. And now that commercial radio has come calling she has no intention of reining herself in.“If anything it will get a bit more amplified because you will be hearing my thoughts every day,” she said.“I’ve never been one to shy away from any topic.”Chatfield said her career ascension had been “wild.”“It has been an absolute whirlwind, I was in a corporate job two and a half years ago and I feel very, very lucky,” she said.“It is bizarre, in my head I am still a property analyst from Brisbane.”Chatfield said she hoped her Melbourne-based boyfriend, Konrad Bien-Stephen, would relocate to Sydney with her.“We are going to see what happens. I am trying to get him to move to Sydney with me,” she said. And she was surprised to see headlines saying the rift between herself and newly single Bachelorette Brooke Blurton over the timing of her confirming her relationship with Bien-Stephens, had healed. “She just refollowed me on Instagram. I never unfollowed her, but she refollowed me recently, so there is not too much to that story,” she said.
