Dan MacPherson ready to ‘dip toe’ into dating

The actors separated after five years of marriage in 2020 with the private couple both releasing identical statements on Instagram to announce the news.“I’m dipping my toe in and taking it very slowly,’’ MacPherson said of finding love again.“Zoe and I are co-parenting and we’re really good, she’s a fantastic mother.”Foundation and Strike Back star MacPherson and former Home And Away star Ventoura had been based between Sydney and LA after they wed in secret surrounded by family and friends in Noosa in December 2015.They met when cast alongside each other on the Channel 7 series Wild Boys.MacPherson has now bought a place in Cronulla where he grew up and says fatherhood is his greatest joy.The 41 year-old was at the Australian Open as a guest of Peroni, attending an event at architect Paul Bangay’s private residence Stonefields and then the tennis on Tuesday night.“The blessing of the pandemic has been time at home with family,’’ MacPherson said.“I’m just loving fatherhood.“I bought a place in Cronulla and the first thing I did at my place was put in an ice bath and a full garage gym before I even got a bed.“I left Cronulla at 17 to move to Melbourne for Neighbours and now I’m back at 41.”MacPherson says he has projects back in LA this year and the former Dancing With the Stars host will return to Apple’s sci-fi epic Foundation.
