Masked Singer judges storm out over reveal

The Hangover actor Ken Jeong and singer Robin Thicke – who are on the judging panel for the US version of the celebrity reality show – left the stage in the middle of filming after former New York mayor and Donald Trump’s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani was unmasked as one of the singers, Deadline reports.The episode was filmed last week and is set to air later next month.Stream more entertainment news live & on demand with Flash, a dedicated news streaming service. Try 14 days free now >Fellow judges Nicole Scherzinger and Jenny McCarthy remained on-set, the publication claims.It was not revealed how far into the competition Giuliani had managed to progress, nor what costume he was wearing (though unsubstantiated social media claims have outed him as ‘Cupcake Face’).Giuliani, 77, a former prosecutor, has become a controversial figure in recent years, off the back of his humiliating cameo in the 2020 Borat film, a sad hair dye fail and for his support of Trump.Jeong and Thicke reportedly returned to stage eventually, where the judges all had a brief chat with Giuliani.The episode may not have aired yet but the masses over on social media are still getting a kick out of the leaked information.The Masked Singer airs on Fox in the US.When the network was approached by Deadline, Fox representatives declined to comment.Giuliani is also yet to comment.
