Whenever you leave your desk, you should always lock your computer. This ensures that sensitive information cannot be accessed by someone who doesn’t have authorization. Whether at home or your workplace, this step should always be important. If, however, you forget to lock your Screen, you can set timers to ensure that the computer locks on its own after a while of inactivity. This tutorial will show you how to change the lock screen timeout on Windows 11.
Lock Screen Timeout
Step-1: Click on the Windows icon on the taskbar and select the Settings cog. (You can also use the shortcut keys Win + I to open the app)
Step-2: Ensure that you are in the System settings tab from the left pane.
Step-3: Select Power & battery from the right pane.
Step-4: Click on the Screen and sleep option to expand it.
Step-5: You will now see different options with drop-down menus. Select times from these drop-down menus.
Step-6: Once you are done, close the Settings app.
I hope this helps you change the lock screen timeout according to your need. Let us know in the comments below.
