Save 58%: Wireless earbuds with active noise cancellation don’t have to drain your wallet. As of March 28, the second generation Amazon Echo Buds are on sale for just $49.99 — that’s $70 off their $119.99 MSRP — at Amazon.

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again — there are plenty of great wireless earbud options that aren’t AirPods.

If you’re a diehard Apple fan, maybe that’s something you don’t want to hear, but the fact is that the second-gen Amazon Echo Buds are a pretty solid pair of buds with active noise cancellation. At full price, they’re about $77 cheaper than what AirPods Pro typically go for, hence why the Echo Buds earned the spot as our favorite budget pick of 2021. But, as of March 28, you can get the Echo Buds for even less, at just $49.99 at Amazon (for those keeping track, that’s roughly $150 cheaper than the aforementioned AirPods).

Clearly, this price discrepancy is not completely without reason, but let’s start off with these buds more redeeming qualities. One, the ANC, which we know we’ve mentioned, but it bears repeating. Finding a pair of buds with actually does a decent job at blocking out the world around you and that won’t cost you over $150 isn’t easy. Mashable tech reporter Alex Perry noted this feature several times in his review of these buds.

Two, the Alexa integration make these the no-brainer pick for anyone who’s a particularly big fan of Amazon’s smart assistant (though these buds can also pair with Siri and Google Assistant). Finally, this sale price is almost unbeatable, which can especially come in handy for anyone prone to misplacing an earbud or two every now and then.

Now, the not-so-great. The battery life is simply okay — you’ll get about five hours with ANC on, and 15 hours total with the charging case. Their design does not necessarily inspire joy (or sadness, to be fair), and might be a bit chunky for people with smaller ears, though they do come with different sizes of ear tips and wing tips to help you find a good fit. Finally, this sale only applies to the wired charing case version, so you’ll have to pay more if you want to go completely wire free.

They’re not the fanciest Bluetooth earbuds out there, but with their features and price, they’re certainly some of the best valued. Check out them out while they’re on sale at Amazon for a limited time only.
