“What you’re gonna do … it’s three hours late,” O’Reilly is heard saying. When the employee responds, O’Reilly can be heard interrupting the worker and saying, “No, no, no. You’re going to find out,” while pointing at him.
The conversation then escalates, with O’Reilly telling the employee: “You fucking scumbag. Don’t talk to me like that.”
“You’re threatening me with violence, man,” the employee says.
“No, I’m not,” O’Reilly responds.
The exchange also involved O’Reilly threatening the worker’s job, at one point, saying: “You’re gonna lose your job.”
O’Reilly told The Daily Mail that he was on the way to Turks and Caicos when his flight out of JFK was delayed by five hours. He told The Mail that the discussion between him and the employee had gotten “heated.”
Neither the former Fox News host nor representatives for Jetblue immediately responded to a request for comment from Insider.
Fox fired O’Reilly following a sexual harassment scandal in 2017. He now hosts a podcast. In 2021 he also went on the road with former President Donald Trump during their “History Tour,” a series of public speaking appearances.
