The post-pandemic dressing era has undoubtedly been one of my favorite times in fashion. “Dopamine dressing,” as it’s been coined, has risen through the ranks, and my browser has recently seen an influx of fun, smile-worthy pieces. So I was happy to discover H&M’s newest collection, which emulates that exact vibe with new arrivals that are whimsical, feminine, and honestly, just a breath of fresh air (which is so needed these days). With pieces like silky-soft lace dresses, intricate crochet pants, and bright-orange crop tops, this collection makes it hard to resist adding everything to your cart at once. Want to take a peek? Keep scrolling to see the three dreamy spring trends from this drop that you can take along for all your adventures this season.
The best part about these silky pieces (and the whole spring collection, for that matter) is that they’re crafted with more sustainably sourced materials. It just makes me feel that much better about wearing them. The soft silks in this collection are so simple yet make such an elevated statement. I can’t get over how effortless the sleeveless slip dress is. (I’ve already packed it away in my head for my honeymoon in Positano, Italy.) Something about it is so romantic. Plus, it’s one of those pieces that can be dressed up or down so easily. Heels, slides, sneakers, you name it—it works.
If you’ve been following any fashion people this season, you’ve probably heard them talk about the resurgence of crochet. It’s hot this summer. I love how much detail H&M put into the crochet design of these pieces, which makes them look so much more expensive than they actually are (an H&M forté).
It’s hard not to be in a good mood when you’re wearing something as bright and colorful as one of these items. Bold colors are making headway in the fashion world, whether it’s a bright crop top under a linen blazer or a head-to-toe look. Both the punchy orange and the cool teal in this collection deserve to be worn someplace where the sun is shining and the waves are crashing. Sorry, I don’t make the rules.
