Warning over new Covid scam

The text message, which is being sent to phones across Victoria, includes a link to a fake Medicare or MyGov site where people are asked for personal details including banking information.The details are then used to steal identities and money.A text seen by the Leader claimed the receiver had been exposed to the Omicron variant and included a link to a site designed to look like the Medicare website.
