The British singer, 34, stepped out in Los Angeles on Wednesday, local time, for a romantic date night with her sports agent boyfriend Rich Paul.The loved-up duo, who recently moved in together, headed to Beverly Hills hotspot Avra, where they were photographed leaving the venue after dinner.A make-up free Adele was sporting noticeably plumper lips for the outing, in which she wore an all-black Nike ensemble.Meanwhile Rich, 40, rocked a Biggie Smalls sweatshirt and purple pants as he took to the driver’s seat of the car.Adele’s look has certainly evolved over the years, with the mother-of-one losing a staggering 45kg in 2020.She recently confessed to feeling “terrible” that her weight loss left fans with confidence issues.“I felt terrible for some people that felt like other people’s comments meant that they weren’t looking good or that they weren’t beautiful,” she told BBC Radio 4’s Desert Island Discs.“There were some other people who felt very betrayed by me, being like, ‘Oh, she’s given into the pressure of it.’ Which didn’t really bother me because you aren’t holding my hand at 4am when I’m crying my heart out with anxiety and needing a distraction.”It comes after Adele made her long-awaited return to live performances last week for two sold-out shows at London’s Hyde Park.Adele had not played a public live show since she headlined two concerts at Wembley Stadium in 2017, having postponed her Las Vegas residency in January.And her return was certainly emotional, as Adele asked the crowd, which included actor Tom Cruise, to “help” her sing her hit ballad, Hello.After the first song, she admitted: “I’m f***ing s**tting myself.”Her two-show concert return comes after she opened up about being savaged by a “brutal” backlash after postponing her Las Vegas residency on the eve of its debut in January.The singer admitted she was frightened to call off the shows earlier this year and said she was “a shell of a person” for months afterwards.However, Adele stood by the last-minute decision, explaining to Desert Island Discs: “You can’t buy me … you can’t buy me for nothing. I’m not going to do a show because I have to.“Did I make the right decision? I don’t know. I definitely felt everyone’s disappointment, and I was devastated. I was frightened about letting them down.“I thought I could pull it together and make it work and I couldn’t, and I stand by that decision.“I don’t think any other artist would have done what I did. I think that’s why it was such a massive, story, it was like [saying] I don’t care, and stuff like that.”
