SAVE $38: The Google Nest Thermostat is on sale for only $91.99 at Walmart as of July 8. That’s 29% in savings and just a few bucks away from its lowest price ever.
Like saving money? Here’s a tip: You can save as much as 10% a year on heating and cooling by just turning your thermostat back seven to 10 degrees Fahrenheit for eight hours a day. Micromanaging a thermostat is hardly the most exciting way to spend your time, though. So, here’s another smart tip: Snag a Google Nest Thermostat to do the temperature adjustments and regulation for you.
It’s regularly $129.99, but as of July 8, you can pick up the Google Nest Thermostat for as low as $91.99 at Walmart — that’s $38 in savings and just a few bucks short of its lowest price ever (it hit $89.99 during the week of Black Friday 2021). It’s also $8 cheaper than Amazon’s pricing, so you’ll definitely be securing a solid deal.
The Nest is relatively simple to install with some basic DIY skills and is compatible with about 85 percent of home systems. It’s also pretty user-friendly, so you can get started with savings right away. You can change the temperature with a swipe of the touch bar or open up the Google Home app to make adjustments.
The app also lets you set up quick scheduling, so the temperature will be comfortably cool when you’re at home and turn itself back up when you’re away. There are also built-in sensors that recognize if you’ve left the house and adjust to “eco temperature” to save energy until you come back.
It comes in a handful of colors, but only the Fog shade is available for the $91.99 sale price.
