During a confusing debate about the location of Armenia on the Kyle and Jackie O show, the radio host became frustrated when his screen wouldn’t work, and threw a marble cup at it, much to the shock of his co-host.“It’s smashed it! Kyle, look what you’ve done! What is wrong with you?” Jackie asked, prompting Kyle to admit he’s currently detoxing from cigarettes and coffee due to an upcoming medical procedure.“Oh, this is no good, just drink, doctors lie,” joked Jackie.“Doctors always say, ‘don’t have anything before an operation’ – surely it’s not worth our pain?”She added: “I thought we’d moved on from this behaviour.”But Kyle was adamant, telling her: “It won’t be the first, and it won’t be the last screen I’ve broken. Maybe I should go home, I’m feeling a bit dangerous.”He went on to insist that the screen was “already broken” as it wouldn’t change channels when he wanted it to, but a producer then jumped in to explain that it was just one button that wasn’t working – and that he’d just needed to use a remote.“Listen, get it f**king fixed,” Kyle snapped back.“If I come to work, I expect the buttons to work.”Following his outburst, Kyle – a frequent smoker – then admitted he hadn’t had a cigarette since the previous evening, and explained that his medical procedure involved an examination of “the blood flow” to his heart.It comes after the 50-year-old shock jock recently won himself a legion of international fans after one of his meltdowns went viral in the US.In May, he and Jackie O interviewed the hosts of the US Fresh and Fit podcast – which claims to be the “world’s No. 1 men’s podcast” – in which co-host Myron Gaines made a wild statement about how men should be allowed to cheat in relationships.“Women want attention, men want sex, so my thing is men are capable of having sex with other women while still loving his girl the same,” Gaines claimed.The statement prompted a bewildered Jackie to question, “You’re actually saying that in a relationship it’s OK for men to go and explore other options but we have to be happy with you and not explore options?”Gaines’ response?: “Absolutely. Closed on your end, open on my end.”By this point Sandilands had heard enough, dubbing Gaines a “clown” before kicking him off-air.“That’s crazy. You can’t just go throwing that thing around …” Sandilands began, before Gaines demanded, “Let me finish!”Sandilands said: “I’m sick of you asking to finish your long, boring answers that are the same answer every time we ask you a question.”“But you guys asked me to come on your show?” Gaines questioned.“So f**king what, clown!?” Sandilands fired back, prompting fits of laughter from Jackie.
