OnePlus‘ next smartphone flagship, the OnePlus 10T, will be fully revealed on Aug. 3 at an event in New York City.
On Wednesday, the company announced the event on Twitter with the tagline “evolve beyond speed.” It’ll kick off at 10 a.m. ET.
In an invite sent via e-mail, OnePlus said the new phone will have the “world’s fastest Qualcomm mobile platform,” which is the Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 processor. There’s also mention of “industry-leading charging speed,” and OnePlus will also launch its new mobile operating system, the Oxygen OS 13, alongside the new phone.
Rumored specifications include a 6.7-inch, OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 12GB of RAM, up to 256GB of storage, and a 50/8/2-megapixel triple rear camera.
OnePlus didn’t launch a “T” flagship last year, so the OnePlus 9T never happened, but the company decided to revive the series with the OnePlus 10T. We’ll see how it stacks against the OnePlus 10 Pro, which was one of the best Android phones released in the first half of 2022.
