Blair James, the co-founder of Bondi Sands, married his long-time love Melanie Adams in the idyllic Italian destination after postponing the wedding from 2020 due to the Covid pandemic.The couple exchanged vows at the luxury Villa Balbiano on the western shore, where scenes from blockbuster movie House of Gucci were filmed.There were three days of stunning events, starting with welcome drinks at Grand Hotel Tremezzo, the wedding on Monday and a pool party at the villa on Tuesday.Eighty people flew in for the ceremony, including James’ Bondi Sands co-founder Shaun Wilson and his girlfriend, model Tess Shanahan; his other business partner Hamish Buckley and wife Hayley; influencer couple Sarah and Nic Davidson, photographer Christian Rocchi, psychic clairvoyant David The Medium and leading Melbourne PR manager Pru Corrigan.Adams wore three gowns by top designers J’Aton, Pallas Couture and Kyha Studios.Her main gown was by Pallas.Guests were seated for dinner by a poolside table with singer Jax Thomas performing and the night capped by a series of fireworks on the lake. The couple stood by a champagne tower and a perfectly set flower arrangement as Coldplay’s Sky Full of Stars was played.“The best moment of our lives.” Adams said.Guests were blown away by the setting, planning and love for the couple on the day.Since launching in 2012, Bondi Sands is now stocked in 22,000 retailers globally and holds 60 per cent of the market share in Australia.Entrepreneur Blair joined with Buckley to create the nation’s fastest growing haircare brand, Growth Bomb, a range that targets hair loss and scalp health, during the 2020 Covid-19 lockdown.
